Wivelsfield Little Theatre (WLT)

WLT is aimed at people with an interest in any aspect of amateur dramatics, on stage or backstage. As well as actors, there is always a warm welcome for anyone interested in set construction, costumes, make-up etc.

We welcome people of all ages and ability -our members range from teenagers to those in their 70’s and 80’s. You can commit as much time as you like, depending on your choice of activity:

Acting - be someone else

Directing - boss everyone about

Stage Management - be a control freak

Lighting - play with knobs, switches and sliders

Costume - make our actors look good

Set Design - wow the audience

Set Building - play with power tools

Prompt - lose your hair and sanity

Props - great excuse to tour the charity shops

Front of House - Welcome our audience

and many more

The society puts on two productions a year, usually in the spring and autumn. In addition we have play readings and a very wide range of social activities.
