Village Hall; Information and Contacts

Hall and Grounds

Sample layout of seating

The hall was opened in 1981 and is used by most village clubs and societies.

The main hall, or one of the smaller rooms, can be hired for meetings, parties, wedding receptions and the like. About 4 times a year the Parish Church hold a "Songs of Praise" event and early in December village clubs and societies join forces for the annual Carol Concert which is very much a highlight of the parish calendar.

The recreation ground offers an excellent children's play area, a pavilion and facilities for cricket, football and stoolball. Many other events take place and, occasionally, there has even been a Village Fair.

The hall is bright and airy and has a good heating system, a large fully-equipped kitchen (with serving hatch) and a small separate bar area. Comfortable padded chairs and tables are also available.

There is a modern PA system and a good stage with additional stage extensions.

The floor is a sprung wooden floor, and so is ideal for many occasions especially dancing amd numerous functions such as:-

Weddings

Birthday Parties

Company Meetings

Training Events

Craft Fairs

Club Meetings

There are lovely clean toilets with disabled access and baby changing facilities. The car park offers ample car parking.
