FC – new season, new venue and new sponsor!

Mid-Sussex Blues FC kicked off to a fantastic start of the season with their first ever training session at new venue Wivelsfield Green Recreation Ground.  The club will be training there every Saturday morning, from 9.15am to 12.00, and will be making full use of the clubhouse and facilities.

 

Mid-Sussex Blues FC is an independent club affiliated with Haywards Heath Football Club.  For the first season it will provide coaching and teams for boys aged U6, U7, U8 and U9, and will be entering teams in the Crawley League from the start of the 2007/2008 season.    In future seasons, they plan to extend the range of ages offered and introduce coaching and competition for girls.

 

Mid-Sussex Blues aims to be a very different kind of football club and their vision is to create the ideal environment for young people to learn and enjoy the game of football, helping them prepare for their future as athletes, students and members of the community.  Besides coaching and competition we will focus on:

• Supporting local education
• Developing links with other sports organization
• Fostering international co-operation
• Protecting the environment

 

Mid-Sussex Blues FC is coached by Mark Russ, well known in the area as a highly respected FA qualified coach, and they are sponsored by Mission Assurance and Testing, the UK’s largest systems quality assurance and testing solutions provider.
