Gardening Club

For anyone interested in gardening whether they be novices or experienced.

 

We meet September to April, every 4th Thursday of each month at 7.45pm. in the Village Hall.

 

Annual membership costs £7 payable at the AGM (the January meeting).

 

Guest speakers cover a wide variety of topics. See the "Events" section for details of our meetings and talks. Each meeting cost 50p for members and £1 for non-members.

 

Visitors very welcome -just come along!

 

Special Events

Saturday, 22nd May 2010 - Our coach outing this year is to Wisley. The coach will leave the Village Hall at 10am. and leave Wisley at 4pm. Cost of the outing is £13 to be paid by 29th April, our April meeting date.

Our Annual Flower, Craft and Vegetable Show this year is to be held at the Village Hall on Saturday, 31st July. Entries need to be set up in the Hall between 9.30am. and 10.30am. and then, after judging, the hall is open from 2 - 4.30pm. for viewing and collection of prizes. Admission is 25p, accompanied children free.

There will be refreshments and a raffle.

(Entries from non-members are welcomed.)

 

Show Schedules with entry forms will be available from the end of May.
